"The Dictionary Project"

Our club supports the local schools by our support in  "The Dictionary Project."  

"The Dictionary Project" is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.  The goal of the program is to assist students in completing their school year as good writers, active readers and creative thinkers by providing them with their own personal dictionary. The dictionaries are a gift to each student to use at school and at home for years to come. Educators see third grade as the dividing line between learning to read and reading to learn.    

Our club fundraisers and donations supplies dictionaries to the following Lewisvile schools:

• Central Elementary
• Lakeland Elementary
• Hedrick Elementary

Educators see reading as the most important skill of all and our club is honored to participate by donating and delivering these dictionaries within our community.
