LMR 4th Thursday Evening Mixer
LMR members, family and friends are invited to join us Thursday, Jan 23rd at 7 pm for a Lewisville Morning Rotary Club mixer at the Lewisville Police Department. The evening includes a presentation about the Police Department, a tour of the facilities, fellowship and non-alcoholic refreshments.
Members are encouraged to bring guests.

LMR to host 4 Way Test Speech Contest 
Lewisville Morning Rotary to host speech contest
inviting contestants from Hebron High and The Colony High Schools
Topic: What the 4 Way Test means to me
 
The date for contest is Feb 27th at 7 pm at the Hedrick House in Lewisville, 1407 Creekview Dr, Lewisville. The schools are in process of confirming their participation. This event will be our 4th Thursday Mixer. Please invite guests to join us. A great opportunity to hear some wonderful presentations from our youth, visit with Rotarians and enjoy fellowship. We will be inviting members from Rotary's new Strategic Partners, Toastmasters International from the local Fear-Less, Lakeside, Parkway and Progressive Leaders of Denton County to join us.

On a rare snowy day in Texas
Our volunteers helped 127 Lewisville
Families properly dispose of Hazardous Household Waste
 
Dressed like Eskimos where Bill Shaw and daughter Maddie, Todd Taylor and daughter Alex, Mark Shaw, Samba Sey, Jeff Lighton, Mary Jones and the Gilmore bothers Tommy and Will. The volunteers emptied family vehicles of HHW, segregated the waste and worked with city staff package the waste by type so that it can be taken to recycle and disposal companies.
