May 14, 2020 Morning Meeting Newsletter

The above graphic was created in honor of the all those that have given of themselves to keep us healthy, protect, keep us safe, provide food, provide supplies and those that have volunteered during this Covid 19 crises.

We are in the middle of a special launch of our flags to all our subscribers starting this weekend. The flags will stay out until Flag Day on June 14th. You can subscribe by clicking Lewisville Area Flags. Please share this subscription link with your Lewisville area friends and neighbors. Thank you to the flag committee and Boy Scout Troop 9168 for all the work in developing the plans, creating the new "Lewisville Area Flags" brand, developing communication content, coordinating sleeve installation and repairs and of course launching the flags to our current subscribers.

In spite of Covid 19, our club continues supporting the community through area wide non-profit donations and service projects such as the Perfect Engagement Bike awards and the Socially distanced and Masked Drive by Congrats recognition for our CES Alumni High School Grads and the Socially Distanced Drive-by Congrats recognition for CES 6th Graders next week. Check out the events and the stories below...particularly the video created honoring the CES teachers.

A guest from Russia will be joining us at Thursday's meeting
Members are always encouraged to invite guest to our meetings.
Even our virtual meetings. This week, I have invited
Valentina Bogdanova of the Rotary Club Sochi Center

She is visiting us virtually from Russia as the President of the brand new Rotary Club of Sochi. Our club has agreed to be one of the sponsors for this club. After Mary Jones tells us about her vocation and love of Rotary, we are hopeful of hearing about Valentina and the new club she will be leading. It will be a busy meeting, as Tom also will be announcing the 12 Central ES Bike Winners.
