Lewisville Morning Rotary Club members are actively seeking Lewisville Area businesses and professional organizations interested in sponsoring our 20th Annual Western Days Car Show September 30th. The Lewisville Western Days is one of DFW's most exciting community events with over 25,000 people expected to participate. Our 20th Annual Car Show is one of the most frequented attractions participants visit during the Saturday late morning, early afternoon festival schedule of activities.

Sponsorship opportunities are listed below. For more information please contact Car Show Sponsor Chair.

This year we sponsored two very special students, Henrik Thimm our clubs Rotary Youth Exchange Student and Haley Ivy a junior at Lewisville High School. Both will be speaking at our July 20th meeting and sharing their experience of RYLA.

As it happens, it will be Henrik's last day in Texas. On the afternoon of July 20th, Henrik will be returning home to Germany,

So, our meeting will also be his Bon Voyage celebration. Before he leaves, Henrik will want to share some of his most memorable experiences here in the US. We for our part need to be ready to share some our most memorable moments with Henrik.

Seven of our members volunteered last Saturday to host the Aug 26th blood drive. Thank you to everyone that volunteered.

As of the publication of this story, we do not have a final count of blood donations.

Join us on Sept 9, 2017 6:00 pm at Hula Hut in Little Elm!

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased by clicking here.

As of the publication of the August 29th Sunrise over Old Town Newsletter, the Satellite Rotary Club of Little Elm has 21 members. Yea!

Are we ready? Charter, Charter, Charter!!! Both LER and LMR Boards are studying steps necessary. Stay tuned.
