Lewisville Morning Rotary does Halloween

Or not. Our Thursday morning meeting this week happens to land on Halloween. So, being the fun loving group we are, members are welcome to dress for the occasion. Club President Tom Rowe will be dressed as "President". Club secretary Mary Jones has promised to come dressed as "Secretary". This newsletter editor has a habit of letting his imagination wonder into unprintable territory thinking what those costumes might entail.

For the rest of us, feel free to let your best Halloween character be seen at Thursday's 7 AM meeting. Mary has promised to give a prize to those with note worthy costumes.

Come and join in on the fun...we have a great speaker planned in Dr. Ackerman.

LMR Members to fill Back Packs for Homeless

Club Members will be filling Back Packs with supplies needed by the Homeless

Back Packs will be distributed by Salvation Army Volunteers

to homeless through out Lewisville and nearby communities.

Back packs this year are provided by our fellow Rotary members at Highland Village RC and Excite's Julie Huchins (Club President).

Volunteered Nov 30th at Sams Club helping

Salvation Army with annual Christmas Red Kettle drive

Several in our club, the TCHS Interact Club, the HHS Interact Club and even members of the Lewisville Yellow Jackets professional basketball team joined in to log almost 60 volunteer hours helping Salvation Army in their Red Kettle annual fund raiser.

by Proclaiming Oct 20th through Oct 26th as End Polio Week in Lewisville

Breakfast With Santa planning is in full swing

to make this years Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 7th

the best and most memorable ever.

The committee assignments are made and members are volunteering to serve on various committees.
