Hello everyone! Please note there is an urgent need for blood. the attached email allows people to reserve a time for giving blood this Saturday 31st. Please share with everyone you know AND dont know!
Most of you dont know but i spent last week in hospital - pneumonia and then complications. What i want to share is I had an IVIG infusion (antibodies) and will have to have more. It takes over 7,500 donors to provide a single infusion! Of course this is paid for. Nevertheless THE POINT IS THAT BLOOD DONATION IS FOR MANY NEEDS - Not just red blood and platelets. YOUR HELP IN PROMOTING IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED Thanks, Dr. Siebert.
Melissa Troyer Rowe will be running in the GE Irving Marathon on April 4, 2015. She will be doing the Marathon while pushing her mother (a polio victim) in a buggy. She is doing this to raisemoney and awareness for the eradication of polio! She has watched her mom's body be wracked by Post Polio Syndrome and would love to see this disease ended. Coincidentally when she pushes her mom's buggy in the marathon Melissa will be the same age her mom was when she first had to use a wheelchair. Please donate if you can!"
