  1. Donate sox and gloves for Denton County Veterans coalition at boxes located at Kwik Kar Vista Ridge, Verfs Grill and Tavern, Shoal Creek Tavern and Lambeau's America Kitchen and Taps during entire month of November.
  2. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020 LMR members will be the Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell Ringing volunteers at the Lewisville Sam's Club. Volunteer for your slot by clicking here.

Lewisville Morning Rotary members to participate in a Covid 19 modified version our Santa event for the 2020 Holiday Stroll
 The Lewisville Morning Rotary Club is joining forces with the
Main and Mill Association and the Old Town Business Association
to present a safe Covid 19 version of the traditional Holiday Stroll
at Wayne Ferguson Plaza in Old Town Lewisville
 
Instead of the traditional Pancakes with Santa on the plaza, club members will be greeting holiday strollers and giving out Santa Treat Sacks for good little children and their folks. To volunteer for one of the remaining 3 pm time slot click here
LMR Members volunteer for the Salvation Army's Annual Red Kettle
 It's Tradition! Every Saturday after Thanksgiving several members
volunteer for the Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Duty Fundraiser
at Sam's Club in Lewisville. This year is no different. Members will
be on site from 11 AM to 8 PM encouraging shoppers to fill the kettle.

Dedication Ceremony for trees planted by Lewisville Morning Rotary
The Lewisville Morning Rotary Club had a small dedication ceremony to celebrate our partnership with Lewisville Parks and Recreation and Keep Lewisville Beautiful to plant trees in areas lacking green space. Our 9 Redbud trees will help enhance the Garden Ridge Blvd. Trail. #lewisvillemorningrotary, #ParksandRecLV, #PeopleOfAction

Lewisville Morning Rotary collecting Sox and Gloves for homeless vets
Lewisville Morning Rotary Club is partnering
with the Denton County Veterans Coalition to
seek donations of sox and gloves for homeless 
veterans in Denton County area.
 
Our veterans have served and protected us. Some have fallen on hard times and are homelessness. Please help us provide sox and gloves to these vets. Please drop off your donation of new sox and or gloves at one of the Jim Verfurth family of restaurants; Verf's Grill and Tavern, Shoal Creek Tavern and Lambeau's America Kitchen and Taps. You can also drop off new sox and gloves at Kwik Kar Vista Ridge.

Please pray for Gordon who is at home this Thanksgiving recovering from the Covid 19 Virus.
 
Marilyn and John are in need of your prayers as they grieve the loss of John's brother Frank who died last Saturday from an apparent heart failure. Also, pray for their son, Jeff Pokorny, MD who is in Albermarle Hospital, Elizabeth City, NC recovering from Covid 19 virus.
 
Please continue to pray and keep Ray, Marilyn and Dr. Jeff  in your thoughts as they continue to mend  Thanks everyone for their prayers and encouragement.
