End Covid in Denton County. Join Rotary members from throughout Denton County volunteer with over 300 community volunteers per day at Texas Motor Speedway to assist the Denton County Health Department in vaccinating Denton County Residents against the Covid 19 Virus. Identify qualified High School Seniors for our Scholarships
Every year Lewisville Morning Rotary awards scholarships to two high school seniors. One for a student that matriculated through our adopted elementary school, Central ES. The other to a senior from Hebron High School. Club leadership established the criteria for which each scholarship should be awarded and our partners, the Lewisville Education Foundation managed the scholarship applications and selection process. Below is the letter from LEF announcing this years recipients.

Lewisville Morning Rotary Four Way Test Speech Contest.
On March 27th she competed against 11 other high school
contestants, placing 4th with another great speech.
Congratulations Milen! The District 5790 Contest Chair Lori Richardson Glovier reported "I am happy to announce the results of our successful Regional (first of two) Four Way Test Speech Contest which was held on March 27th via Zoom!

Lewisville Morning Rotary steering committee member for the Denton County Rotary clubs End Covid in Denton County steering committee advises that our members have been volunteering at the various vaccination hubs this past month. Those members include club president Mark Smith as well as his spouse Nancy Smith, Terry Kasen, Jeff Lighton, Deanna Perkins and John Pokorny.

There are several ways to serve in addition to the hubs, drivers are needed as well preparation staff in the Denton County Health Department office.
Please continue to pray and keep Frank Hebb in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to mend. Pray for Marilyn Pokorny also as she continues treatment for knee and hip pain. There are also several members that are suffering with spring allergies.
