End Covid in Denton County. Join Rotary members from throughout Denton County volunteer with over 300 community volunteers per day at Texas Motor Speedway to assist the Denton County Health Department in vaccinating Denton County Residents against the Covid 19 Virus. All volunteer slots are filled this Thursday but to volunteer for Friday, click endcovidindentoncounty.org this weekend.

Our members partnered with Westside Baptist Church
and Carter BloodCare to obtain 19 blood donations.
Donations will save 57 lives in a time when donations are
badly needed due to the pandemic impact.

Our blood drive held at Westside Baptist Church this past weekend was a success! We had 19 donors show up and Carter BloodCare collected 15 units of whole blood and 4 units of red blood cells.
Club President Mark Smith says "thanks to everyone who donated, supported, and advertised the blood drive for making it a success! A special thanks to Ray Bowens for coordinating with his church on allowing us to use their facilities, and for help getting some extra donors!"
Lewisville Morning Rotary steering committee member for the Denton County Rotary clubs End Covid in Denton County steering committee advises that our members have been volunteering at the various vaccination hubs this past month. Those members include club president Mark Smith as well as his spouse Nancy Smith, Terry Kasen, Jeff Lighton, Deanna Perkins and John Pokorny.

There are several ways to serve in addition to the hubs, drivers are needed as well preparation staff in the Denton County Health Department office.
Please continue to pray and keep Frank Hebb in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to mend as well as Gordon Roe as he battles Parkinson symptom's. Pray for Marilyn Pokorny also as she continues treatment for knee and hip pain. There are also several members that are suffering with spring allergies.
