Imagine Rotary in new ways for Your Club

 With a record of volunteer management in many organizations, Dan is known recently for his high level of success in managing District Grants.  This success has brought increased efficiency in this area, and a fresh approach to encouraging clubs to participate both in the process of grant application, as well as in giving to the Rotary Foundation.

Born in Garaham, Texas, Dan grew up on his families cattle ranch, attended West Texas A&M University where he majored in music. After changing his major he graduated with a degree in Finance. After graduation, he went to work for a local savings and loan. Ten years later he married Dr. Cary Labbe and began his new career as Practice Administrator for Dr. Cary's optician practice in Mineral Wells.

Dan joined the Graham Rotary club after college graduation and in 1991 he joined the Mineral Wells Rotary Club where served in serveral club leadership capacities. In addition to his service as the District 5790 District Grants chair, he has also served as a member of the district leadership team as Assistant Governor and Lieutenant Governor. On July 1st of this year Dan began is one year term as the District Governor for Rotary District 5790.
