Members of the Lewisville Morning Rotary Club graciously donate to the Rotary Foundation every quarter to support Rotary projects throughout the world including the TEACH Global Grant we are doing in India to improve literacy in 10 tribal region schools. The foundation also supported our dictionary project by matching our club funds dollar for dollar. Over 1000 local children benefited as a result of our Foundation donations and the hard work our members do on fund raisers such as the Car Show, the Pancake Breakfast and the ColorPalooza Rotary Events.

As a result of their generosity, 17 of our members have become Paul Harris Fellows, meaning they have donated over donated over $1000 to The Rotary Foundation. Six of those Paul Harris Fellows have donated in excess of $2000. Two members have donations exceeding $3000 and one member has donations in excess of $5000.

Yes, our membership is extremely generous with not only their time and talent, but, their treasure as well. Rotary members are not required to donate the The Rotary Foundation (TRF). They do it because we want to make a difference in the world and because we know that our donations are well managed. Charity Navigator ranked The Rotary Foundation with an overall Accountability and Transparency Score of 97.7 out of 100 which ranks TRF at the top of list of Charities that do similar work.
