Lewisville Morning Rotary provides books for
Central Elementary School Library
For at least 20 years, the Lewisville Morning Rotary Club has been donating at lease 35 library books to the Central Elementary School library. The book titles were selected by the Central ES head librarian and the club purchases the books in July. The books are then signed by our weekly program speakers and then given to the librarian.
This year is no different. We received our recommended book titles and immediately ordered the books from Amazon. Over the last few days, the books have been arriving at the Pokorny door step. We insert a 'donated by" label in each book for this years program speakers to sign.
Below is a sample of the titles purchased this year. Who knows, perhaps some of our members will be reading them to the youngsters at Read Around Central later this fall.
