G. Brent Wallace, Ph.D. President/CEO North Central Texas Community College District
 
Dr. G. Brent Wallace assumed the duties of the 11th President of the North Central Texas College District in August 2014, after serving as the Vice President of Instruction and Chief Academic Officer for the North Central Texas Community College District. 
 
 
As the Vice President of Instruction, Wallace was responsible for managing all instructional units, including academic transfer, career and technical education, continuing education, adult education, adult basic education, libraries, and the addition of tutoring, Office of Students with Disabilities, and TRIO. Before coming to NCTC Dr. Wallace served as Dean of Instruction for Cisco College.
 
Wallace has a research background in conflict and strategic planning in higher education. He has been a presenter at state and national higher education conferences and is a member of multiple state higher education groups, including the Texas Community College Instructional Administrators, Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Career and Technical Educators, Texas Community College Teachers Association, Texas Association and Community Colleges, and the Texas Association of Community Colleges eLearning Committee. Wallace is also a member of the Gainesville Texas Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is widely involved in civic activities.
 
Wallace is a native of West Texas where he attended high school and college. He holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Hardin Simmons University, a Master of Arts in Human Communications from Abilene Christian University, Graduate Certification in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Abilene Christian University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University.
