Fr. Raymond McDaniel
 
The pastor of the St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville, Fr. Raymond McDaniel will be our key speaker at this weeks Thursday morning breakfast meeting. Fr. McDaniel will be sharing his experience as a Rotary Scholar in the United Kingdom.
 
 Fr. Raymond McDaniel is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, the only son of the late Raymond and Eugenia McDaniel. After winning the Rotary Foundation Scholarship, he graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana with undergraduate degrees in business and music, and returned to England for graduate school where he earned the Master of Arts in Music Performance from the University of York. His first full-time job was that of Director of Music and Organist at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in downtown Fort Worth. In 2000 he began seminary studies in San Antonio, and seven years later earned the degrees of Master of Divinity and  Master of Arts in Theology.  He also holds the Pontifical degree, Bachelor of Sacred Theology, from St. Paul’s in Ottawa and is an Associate of the Royal College of Organists, London.  Since ordination he has served Catholic parishes in Wichita Falls, Seymour, Megargel, Lindsay, and Lewisville. He enjoys reading, travel and exercise.
