Lewisville Morning Rotary Club to celebrate St. Valentine's Day
at it's regular 7 AM meeting at Old Town Brewhouse
with a talk by CarolAnne Crossan

Almost every Lewisville Morning Rotary member when talking about our club will say "the fellow Rotary members are like family to me". So, celebrating a saint, legendary for his for love, devotion and fidelity of friendship is very appropriate.

Our speaker, CarolAnne Crossan who for 12 years has been helping families transition from one stage of life to another and will be sharing how those of us entering our golden years or have parents entering their golden years can make the transition as smooth as possible.

Legend has it that the tradition of the the Valentine love note started when while imprisoned for his belief's that he healed the jailer's blind daughter. On the day of his execution, he left the girl a note signed, "Your Valentine."

While the actual story of Valentine is somewhat murky there is enough evidence to indicate that St. Valentine did exist around the 3rd century.
