At the October 16th Lewisville City Council meeting at 7 pm, the mayor will read a proclamation celebrating Rotary's efforts to End Polio world wide. The council intends to recognize Rotary by declaring the week of October 23rd as World Polio Week in Lewisville. At the meeting the council is planning a short video dedicated to Rotary's End Polio efforts the past several years.
Club Presidents Jeff Siebert and Steve Cox are asking as many members from both clubs as possible to be in council chambers at 7 PM on October 16th for the reading of the proclamation and the video.
At the conclusion of the video, Rotary members will be excused. Club presidents Jeff and Steve have appointed a committee to host a joint celebration at a local pub. Watch this spot for details.
