Chris Bedell was named as our September Hebron High Schools Student of the Month at the September 21, 2017 meeting. Chris already has an impressive resume.under his belt including being in the top 5% of his class. He is ranked 43rd in his class of 838. In addition to his strong academics which include all the pre-AP and AP classes offered by HHS, He is the star nose guard for the football team and a forward on the basketball team.

In addition to his studies and athletic pursuits, he is a member of the National Honor Society, FCA, the Future Professionals Club, Student Council and the Ruckus and Rowdy cheer team leader.
Chris is shown here with his mom Krisen, club president Jeff Siebert and principal of Hebron HS, Scot Finch

Proud parents, Dan & Kristen Bedell have 2 other children, Chris' twin brother and older sister Katelyn.
President Jeff Siebert congratulating Chris
Unbelievably, he still has time to volunteer; at his church and at the Christian Community Action store in The Colony.

It was gratifying to hear our student of the month speak of his thankfulness for his parents, teachers and especially his twin brother.

When asked on the SOM questionnaire what he plans to do after high school, Chris said "to either plan football or attend Texas A&M. It is doubtful he intended the humor of this statement, but surely there are some in agreement with the statement. Either way he plans to study Pre-Med where ever he goes to school. For the long term he hopes to become a neurologist or an orthopedic surgeon.
