We need volunteers to both give blood and help manage the donors at the blood drive.
Club members are encouraged to volunteer for one of the volunteer time slots by clicking here. Members are encouraged to bring family and friends along when when they volunteer.
Community members are encouraged to donate blood. Summer blood supplies are very low. To find out more about donating, please click here.
The Blood Drive will take place via the CarterBloodCare Bus in the parking lot outside the Premier Gun Shows Store at the Lakeland Plaza Shopping Center, 1165 S Stemmons Fwy, Lewisville, TX 75067.
Our roll is to encourage attendees of the Gun Show to give blood. Once they agree to give blood, we will provide seating for them to use while waiting their turn in the shade to give blood. We are to manage the cue so that the donors go to the bus in the order that they volunteered to donate. We are also to communicate with CarterBloodCare staff so that we know when they are ready to take the next potential donor.
