The Lewisville Morning Rotary Club was honored to present our Beanstalk project at the annual Earthx2024 conference at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas on April 23rd, 2024. EarthX is an international nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to educating and inspiring people and organizations to take action towards a more sustainable future worldwide.
The Beanstalk project by Lewisville Morning Rotary, in partnership with Independence Gardens, setup two hydroponic towers in Central Elementary school in Lewisville. The objective was to educate 4th grade students on agriculture and nutrition. Students gain a tangible understanding of where food comes from, empowering them to make informed choices for a greener, healthier future.
We joined other Rotary Clubs in presenting environmental projects that make an impact in our communities. These presentations were part of the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG).
