Lewisville Morning Rotary Scores a Successful Drive for Carter Blood at Vista Ridge Mall

Well gang, we did it again. During our last drive in July we, in partnership with the Global Embassy folks scored some outstanding results. 159 LIVES SAVED! See the thank you letter below from Carter's Susan Holt. Let's not rest on our laurels though, we have another blood drive coming up August 27, And as you will know, August 27th will be a very busy day for Lewisville Morning Rotarians. Some of us will be attending the District 5790 Foundation and Membership Seminar in Weatherford, some of us will be serving the communities needy at the CCA Food pantry and the rest of us will be either donating blood or recruiting mall strollers to join us in donating. On behalf of Carter BloodCare I want to thank you and your wonderful volunteers for helping at Vista Ridge Mall on Saturday.
We did very well!
We collected 53 pints of blood and there were 12 deferrals. The projection was 40 therefore we exceeded the goal by 13 pints.
53 pints collected X 3 lives saved = 159 lives saved by Vista Ridge donors!
Please thank Loren, Naomi, Mart, Bob, Marylyn, and John for the time they spent helping at the drive..
The next scheduled blood drive at Vista Ridge Mall is Sat. 8-27-16. Let me know if you would like to help at this one.
