Officer Kyle Payne receives Lewisville Morning Rotary's
Vocational Service Excellence award.
 
As Rotary members, we believe that our vocations are an opportunity for service to our community. Lewisville Morning Rotary Club members are committed to celebrating and recognizing excellence on the part of those whose vocations are committed to service to our community; our police officers, fire fighters and teachers. At our January 18th meeting, we will be recognizing Officer Kyle Pane.
 
Officer Kyle Payne is currently assigned to the Patrol Divison where he works the night shift on 2nd Watch. Ofc Payne is also an instructor with the National Academy for Professional Driving where he teaches police officers from 6 metroplex agencies including Lewisville, in emergency and pursuit driving. 
Ofc Payne began his career with the Lewisville Police Department in September of 2014.  Prior to working at LPD, Ofc Payne worked for the City of The Colony as an Animal Control officer.  He also worked at North Central Texas College where he obtained an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.  Ofc Payne served 8 years in the US Army National Guard where he reached the rank of "Specialist" in the Military Police Corps. In 2012, Ofc Payne was deployed to Djibouti, Africa (Ja-boo-ty) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with the 702nd (Seven - O- Second)  Military Police Company out of Lufkin Texas. Ofc Payne is a 2008 Graduate of Flower Mound High School and is a resident of Lewisville.
