On Thursday July 21, 2022, District Governor Dan Steele performed the induction ceremony to formally recognize Richard Malcolm as a member of the Lewisville Morning Rotary Club.

Prior to being inducted last week, Richard had already attended three of our  meetings and volunteered at one of our community service projects. His sponsor is club President Bob Troyer.

Richard is the owner operator of Assisted Living Locators. Assisted Living Locators provide options and solutions at no cost or obligations to families needing eldercare support. Richard moved to Coppell two years ago. He and his wife Sara have three children; William, Isabella and Richard IV.

We will save some of Richards background information for when he does his vocational presentation later this year. Among the many things you will find engaging about Richard is his profession. He serves the needs of seniors and others that require special care as a result of illness, decease or injury. Anyone that has ever been involved in finding help of their elderly parents will know what a tough challenge that is.

Richard is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a degree in graphic design. Another interesting fact about him is that he speaks and reads Chinese Mandarin. We are looking forward to hearing his story and how his career developed. Richard Malcolm obviously has a servant heart and wants to serve the community. We are excited to have Richard join us.

When asked why he chose to join the Lewisville Morning Rotary Club, he said "I’m so excited to be part of Rotary. Living a life of service and charity is what I strive for and Rotary certainly promotes that lifestyle"
