Several Lewisville Morning Rotary Club members volunteered along with about two dozen community volunteers to provide food for over 225 food insecure families.

Heart of the City is a very well organized pantry feeding our towns food insecure. Some of us had the luxury or serving in the air conditioned pantry filling orders for each family. The orders were then transported by the unlucky of us to the vehicles where families anxiously waited. Some of the volunteers were runners taking the orders from clients at their car and running into the pantry to fill those orders. Gazing at the photo above will probably give you an idea who actually ran.
