Breakfast with Santa

Well, we just completed another successful Pancake Breakfast with Santa (BWS). This was our Third year organizing, sponsoring, and hosting this event at the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater. On behalf of our chairperson Francis Al-Waely, myself, and Lewisville Morning Rotary Club, THANK YOU to all the volunteers and helpers who made this a great success. This is a fun event but also a huge event to coordinate! But Lewisville Morning Rotarians really stepped up to help in many big and little ways.

We sold over 750 tickets! This is an all-time high for sales. The children and parents who attended had a wonderful time. I heard nothing but compliments to the Lewisville Morning Rotary Club and its EarlyAct Students for hosting this event. We received a lot of good publicity in the community for LMRC.

The monies raised from BWS this year – is an all-time record. Over half of all monies raised was from ticket sales, and the remaining monies came from our Corporate and Place Mat sponsors. These funds will benefit children in the community through Lewisville Morning Rotary Club education and literacy projects.
