No morning meeting on Thursday, July 28th. Instead we will be hosting a Club Social at LaRue Winery at 6:30 PM. Click here to register for yourself and any guests you are inviting to join us.
Our next 7:15 AM meeting is Thursday, August 4th. Club President Bob Troyer will be leading the club in our Quarterly Club Assembly learning about Rotary, each other and the clubs events, fundraisers and service projects for the coming weeks.
We are collecting School Supplies for Pedi-Place all July and August. Click here to see the list of supplies needed and bring them to a meeting. Bring your donated school supplies to the Club Social this evening at LaRue's
We are also accepting online donations for these school supplies. Members will use the school supply cash and online donations to shop for the school supplies needed by Pedi-Place families.
Fun fact...the cost of purchasing the school supplies on the schools list for a 3rd grade student is a minimum $36.75 per student (3rd grade through 6th grade) plus the cost of a backpack if one is needed.
On Thursday July 21, 2022, District Governor Dan Steele performed the induction ceremony to formally recognize Richard Malcolm as a member of the Lewisville Morning Rotary Club.
Prior to being inducted last week, Richard had already attended three of our meetings and volunteered at one of our community service projects. His sponsor is club President Bob Troyer.

Seven of our members joined several other community volunteers to serve 220 plus families at the Heart of the City Food Pantry Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 11:00
This well organized food pantry, operated by members of the Northview Baptist Church is the busiest on Saturdays needing all types of volunteers from a team of parking attendants, social workers working with families in need, volunteers taking orders, teams of packers packing the groceries to "runners" delivering the food to the clients. Well over 3 dozen volunteers are needed on a Saturday. And, that does not even include all preparations of sourcing & ordering the food from the North Texas Food Bank, receiving it and storing it in several freezers until
Meeting responsibilities such as the greeting, 50-50 fund, pledge, invocation, leading happy thoughts, arranging and introducing the speaker and leading the 4 way test are assigned on a rotating basis to club members. Please click the blue button below to find out when you have been scheduled for one or more of the meeting responsibilities during the next 3 months. If you cannot attend the meeting assigned, please contact Bob Troyer to arrange a substitute.
