Our 50-50 Fundraiser provides the opportunity for members and our our guests to have fun donating to our club projects such as our dictionary project.
- Funds donated are accumulated in a kitty until someone draws the winning card from a playing card deck at the end of the meeting.
- Donors will receive chance tickets according to the schedule below.
- At the end of the meeting, person presiding over the meeting well select someone in attendance to draw from the deck of playing cards at the head table.
- In the event that the person draws the winning card, they will receive 50% of the amount that is in the kitty that week. The remaining 50% is deposited into the clubs project account.
- The kitty is then restarted from zero with the next weeks donations and participants
- To receive a chance or chances to draw the winning card, members and/or guests donating at that particular meeting may donate to the fund according to the following schedule:
$1.30 donation provides one chance to be the person that draws from the card deck at end of the meeting
$2.30 donation provides 3 chances to be the person that draws from the card deck at end of the meeting
$4.35 donation provides 6 chances to be the person that draws from the card deck at end of the meeting
$5.40 donation provides 10 chances to be the person that draws from at the card deck end of the meeting
