Soon after Rotary started, the Chicago businessmen in the founding club wanted to help their community more. Rotary focuses on non-political values and aims to do good globally through local community groups. The Rotary Foundation provides financial tools through grants to help carry out some substantial tasks to help communities globally. Rotary partners with many non-profit organizations to help them in many ways.
