Charlene was named the Central Elementary School staff of the Month.
We are so proud of member Charlene Dierks for receiving this honor. Here is what was said about her "Congratulations to Charlene Dierks our February Staff of the Month! Thank you Mrs. Dierks for demonstrating passion and commitment with all of the work that you do in our school and in our community.'
Charlene was also our event chair for the Dictionary Distribution project.
Since 2014 our club has given over 7500 Dictionaries to 3rd grade students at 11 LISD Elementary Schools.
Every year the process starts with a group of members meeting to prepare the dictionaries. We uncrate the books and insert a lable in the front page that includes a place to write their name and our club logo. Here are a few photo's from Saturdays event.
